Just to say a big thank you for the job of completing wall ties to 5 windows and 2 doors. We are so pleased with work and completed so promptly with the minimum of fuss. If we had gone away and left you doing the job and then come back when it was all completed we would have wanted proof the work had been done!
As you know the work was required so that we could have the windows and doors replaced. The window company we are using advised us there were no lintels and we would be at risk of the bricks slipping out of position, or, even collapsing once the current windows were removed. You not only checked this was true but went to great lengths to explain what would happen if it was ignored, windows/doors replaced or not. Plus as the work was progressing you saw that there was a requirement to speak to our window company because of what you found beneath the the mortar may have affected any measurements being used in the manufacture and that is exactly what you did do on our behalf with no added costs.
Owen who was on site completing the work is a credit to your business. Like you a perfectionist, very professional, very polite and friendly. Certainly knows his job and does it with the minimum of fuss but with a great degree of knowledge. He cleared up each evening and whilst working tried to keep everything in order so that when we had to we could move about out doors safely. Normally you groan when you have work men at your home but certainly not where Owen and yourself were concerned it was indeed a pleasure and believe it or not missed you when you were not here. My property was treated with respect, something which is a very rare trait now-a-days.

Our outside wall was found to be moving and cracks were showing in the brickwork above the entrance door lintels. Jim Devlin and his team fitted joist straps to the inside joists and to the wall and fitted helibars outside over the door lintels and replaced faulty brickwork. In the process we discovered that parts of the landing were affected by woodworm. Jim and his team not only replaced faulty floorboards and treaded the woodworm free of charge, they also fitted joist straps in the roof space at no extra cost. All the work was carried out expertly and in the time we were quoted. In the run-up, we had two detailed consultations with Jim and were kept informed at all times. I called on LRBS a few days ago to see if they could carry out some work for me that needed doing after the recent storm & high winds had caused damage to the chimney stack & roof of my property.

We had recently been let down by another builder and phoned Jim (LRBS Owner) who met us at our property and listened to what we wanted. We talked about our plans and designs for some major structural work. Jim understood our concerns and made us feel at ease.
We have basically had the LRBS team remove the back of our house and support this with a steel, and through the whole process it was evident that the LRBS team knew exactly what they were doing. With Jim project managing, nothing was left to chance, nothing forgotten and nothing done by half measure.

We are very pleased with the work LRBS did for us and I would not hesitate to use them again! Our front wall was knocked over and damaged, and LRBS were very quick at coming round to give us a quote (as well as offering us useful advice on the job). They were also true to their word about when they were going to start the job and very neat workers throughout. They kept us informed on what they were going to do and when they were expecting to complete the work (including collection of skip and clearing up after themselves). All in all they did a very good job of rebuilding our wall and we would recommend them.

After an articulated lorry reversed into our front yard wall, I called LRBS where I was given great advice, a quick quotation following a survey and managed to book the work in within a week.
